“We heard about UFL while searching for a group home for our son. His support coordinator at the time helped us find them. He has been there almost five years now, and it has been one of the best things for him. UFL has helped him gain independence and skills we couldn't give him at home. He feels like an adult who is making his own choices, guided by a supportive team. He is working on budgeting, meal planning, goal setting, and social skills, among other things. It gives us a lot of relief to know that he is being taken care of so well by UFL staff who have his best interests at heart. We feel that UFL stands out from other companies we have worked with or looked at because they are able to adapt to the client's needs. They aren't one-size fits all that forces a client to fit in. UFL has the ability to adjust for a client's  needs and help them be their most successful.  We highly recommend them.”

As a Support Coordinator it is a crucial part of the job to find “the best match” for my client’s desired lifestyle. UFL has built their company around a person-centered approach that fosters continuous growth, learning, and unconditional support to the clients in their care. This structure has allowed for clients to achieve “the best match” across different stages of their lives. UFL staff work as a team to allow an increase in community access, increase in resources, and unmatched communication. UFL is an honest provider, who is clear with their capabilities and capacity. If approved by the client, UFL facilitates involvement of families, parents, and other professionals in all decisions for the client. They also facilitate important moments to (ex: visiting family, celebrating holidays, practicing desired religion) and (medical appointments, social events, etc.) for the clients. UFL also created an excellent documentation system for their reporting, tracking, and sharing. I am always aware of activities, strategies, and approaches that are being utilized to support my clients with their PCSP goals. Above all, UFL treats their clients as a member of their family.

"I have had the pleasure of working with Uintah Forever Living since early 2020.  They are a true joy to work with!  They ALWAYS put the client first.  Veroly has always been honest and open with exactly what she and her staff are willing to provide and if they believe that a client is a good fit for them.  They work hard and are loyal to their clients and families.  They address concerns immediately and make sure that their clients are healthy and happy in every way possible.  This is a provider that can be trusted to take care of a loved one and as a Support Coordinator, I would not hesitate to place one of my own clients with them!!".
